Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful week at Morritt's Tortuga Club in the East End of Grand Cayman. The check-in was quick, and my room was clean and tastefully decorated, though the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. The atmosphere was lively with friendly staff around, and I enjoyed swimming in the calm waters. However, the hot water was only mildly warm, and I faced a few issues with the Wi-Fi. Overall, it's a great place for a family vacation or a relaxing retreat for adults, even if it's a bit away from the more urban spots on the island.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at this resort. The location is beautiful and offers great snorkeling right from the shore, but the room we were given felt outdated and noisy. While the staff was friendly, the dining options didn’t quite match the expectations, especially considering the costs. Overall, I appreciated the natural beauty and the friendly ambiance, but some aspects could use improvement.
We had a mostly enjoyable stay at this resort, with a quaint atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for relaxation. The rooms were spacious but had some maintenance issues, which was a letdown. The location was peaceful, allowing us to escape the crowds, and we appreciated the amenities available. However, the service left something to be desired, particularly at check-in.
The resort is situated on the quiet east side of Grand Cayman, offering a tranquil getaway with a stunning oceanfront view. The rooms, while comfortable, could use some updates and a deeper clean. The amenities provided a mix of fun activities, but a few dining experiences were hit or miss. Renting a car is essential for exploring the island. Overall, it's a good value for money considering the beautiful beach and activities available.
My stay at Morritt's Tortuga had its ups and downs. The beautiful ocean view from our unit and the convenience of a kitchen were highlights for me. However, I was frustrated by the unexpected hydro charges and issues with our accommodations. It's a nice place but be prepared for some surprises in pricing.
